New to the Site?

Information available on this site can be used to create a quality system or maintain one that satisfies federal government accreditation and licensing requirements for a seed processing, storage or importing facility. The site is also utilized by Canadian seed testing laboratories to maintain their accreditation.

Approved Conditioners process, grade, package and label pedigreed seed for sale in Canada. Click here for more information on the application process.

Bulk Storage Facilities store and sell pedigreed seed in bulk which has been processed by an Approved Conditioner. Click here for more information on the application process.

Accredited Seed Testing Laboratories test seed and issue seed analysis reports that can be used to grade seed in Canada.

Authorized Importers can import seed into Canada with minimum documentation. Phytosanitary document requirements still have to be met. Click here for more information on the application process.

Authorized Exporters are facilities with current status as an Approved Conditioner (AC) who wish to export according to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Seed Schemes and/or European Union EU Seed Directives. U.S. Authorized Exporters can export seed from Canada into the United States with minimum documentation. Click here for more information on the application process.
